PPCA has been granted a non-exclusive licence to administer certain rights in sound recordings and music videos in accordance with the PPCA Input Agreement.This Direct Licensing Policy outlines the circumstances in which Patrick James Coyle, trading as Prospect Studios Melbourne, may grant licences directly to users of sound recordings and music videos under its control.PPCA LicensingFor the majority of uses covered by PPCA's blanket licence schemes—including public performance, broadcasting, music on hold, online uses, public exhibition of music videos and ancillary reproductions—users should obtain the appropriate licence directly from PPCA.Direct LicensingPatrick James Coyle, trading as Prospect Studios Melbourne, may consider requests for direct licences on a case-by-case basis where appropriate.Submitting a request does not guarantee that a licence will be granted. Each request will be assessed individually, taking into account the nature of the proposed use and any existing licensing arrangements.If a direct licence is granted, the licence fee and all other terms and conditions will be negotiated independently for each request.Patrick James Coyle, trading as Prospect Studios Melbourne, reserves the right to:- grant or refuse any request for a direct licence;
- determine the terms and conditions of any licence granted; and
- negotiate licence fees independently for each application.Licensing EnquiriesRequests for direct licences should include, where applicable:- the sound recording(s) and/or music video(s) to be licensed;
- details of the proposed use;
- the territory in which the material will be be used;
- the proposed licence period; and
